Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions has been manufacturing roofing materials for over 58 years in the United States. The corporate office is located in Houston, Texas while their manufacturing and distribution centers range across the southern half United States. On January 26, 2022, it acquired DaVinci® Roofscapes and Boral North America roofing product lines to combine their sustainable clay, composite, concrete, and steel roof systems and components production.

About Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions

In 2022, Westlake Royal Roofing unveiled its total brand transformation at the International Roofing Expo (IRE). They rebranded their clay, concrete, steel, and roofing components product lines and two new high-performance roof underlayment solutions. Their lightweight products cater to code-restricted communities (HOAs) and older buildings that may not be designed for standard-weight products.

US Tile® products – Formerly known as “US Tile® by Boral” and “Boral Concrete Roofing Tile”, offering clay and concrete tiles.

Westlake is confident in their clay, concrete, steel, and roofing components for any home, business, or industrial projects. Their manufacturing process has a small carbon footprint by using only naturally occurring and abundant resources. Their products help reduce energy consumption and have no chemical preservatives, making them 100% recyclable.

When a Westlake roof is installed direct-to-deck or with battens, this creates Above Sheathing Ventilation (ASV) which can help provide energy savings compared to asphalt shingles. This is limited to Unified SteelTM Pine-Crest Shake, Pacific Tile, Barrel-Vault Tile or Cottage Shingle panel products.

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions Clay Tile Warranties and Certifications

Westlake’s Clay Tile products use up to 59% recycled raw materials and are 100% recyclable. This has earned their Clay products the Cradle to Cradle certification, ensuring they are truly sustainable and will not harm the environment. All tiles are Class A fire-rated, and select tiles include Class 3 or 4 hail coverage as certified with FM 4473 Impact hailstone testing. Select tiles have a Grade 1 rating to withstand an array of conditions, and all clay tiles come with a 50-year warranty to the original owner.

Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions Stone Coated Tile Warranties and Certifications

All of Westlake’s Stone Coated products receive a Class A fire rating when installed with specific underlays and carry a Class 4 hail rating. This may contribute to an Insurance premium reduction of up to 25%. These products meet Florida’s High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) with coverage up to 120 mph. Based on the average lifespan of asphalt shingle roofing at 18.1 years, Westlake’s Unified SteelTM roof will last almost 3 times as long.
