They are Class 3 rated against hail with no visible cracking or breakage during testing, often exceed industry requirements by over 300%. A minimum rupture strength of 350 lbs is required for clay tiles, which Verea’s products test at over 1200 lbs. They are rated for 500 cicles in frost resistance, meeting UNE-EN 539-2:2013 (clause 9) / AC:2009. Verea tiles also exceed the required Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) of 29, measuring 47.5.
